Silk Road 5

Wish I could say that my silence of late has been unwonted... oh, for the days when I could do daily updates!  Though maybe this comes as a relief to my dear readers, I don't know.

Anyway.  I have been busy, because the latest Silk Road Hunt ( number 5 of that ilk) started on the first of June, so I have donned my hunting gear and set off around the shops.  As I write, I'm about ten stops from the end, and a series of posts examining the spoils will no doubt be forthcoming.

I also have to think about picking my top five stores from the hunt (this being a custom of these Historical Hunts)....  It's been my custom, in the past, to base this on the experience of the various stores while hunting, and not on the quality of the gifts; any place which had a gobsmackingly nice build, or a clever clue, or had nice stuff on offer which made me want to buy things, has made it on to my list of favourites.  I don't know if it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt, though, but I'm finding it a bit of a chore to come up with five, this time.  I don't know why.  There are some locations which probably should qualify, if I think hard about it... but I am hard pressed to come up with one that's really reached out and grabbed me.  Maybe I'm just cranky today?

  1. Give up the hunt and go to Fashion For Life instead. They have both great things AND some gobsmackingly good builds.

    1. I read your post! And finished the hunt, and then went to FFL, and dragged Tali there for good measure. So there :)

(The two sims I've seen so far, I like. And I picked up the passport thing, so I'll see how far I get with that!)
